Our gardening service is aimed at people who are unable to tend to their gardens for various reasons such as illness, disability or age. Our 2019 survey results are HERE. During 2018-2019 we have assisted 300 individuals with their gardens.. We can: Tackle most jobs in the garden including weeding, pruning, shrub removal, laying gravel, mowing and rotovating, planting new plants and general clearing up.
Our efforts were rewarded when we won the Queens Award for Voluntary Service in 2007 - an MBE for Voluntary Groups.
The office is open Monday to Fridays between 9.30am and 1pm, although we will be assisting people with their gardens so please leave and message and we will get back to you.

The Helping Hands scheme costs around £55 per day to run so all donations are very much welcomed. The benefits to the client can range from a quick garden tidy up to a complete garden makeover. One client said
"I can no longer do it myself and my garden always looks much better afterwards".
