Further Resources

VCAEC offers a number of additional resources to assist voluntary and community groups in East Cambridgeshire.

Produced in conjunction with East Cambridgeshire District Council this toolkit has been produced to help Voluntary and Community organisations based in East Cambridgeshire improve the way they operate, meet current legislation and put in place systems and procedures which are more likely to meet the requirements of funders.

The toolkit will benefit both new and existing organisations in highlighting things to be included, strengths and areas for development.

Again produced in conjunction with East Cambridgeshire District Council, this toolkit has been produced to help Voluntary and Community organisations based in East Cambridgeshire improve the quality of funding applications they submit and by doing so increase the chances of a successful bid.

  • Local Giving - helping small local charities to fundraise online

Localgiving is the only online giving platform that allows unregistered charities and community groups to benefit from Gift Aid. We facilitate this through a unique donation journey, where donations are made to one of our partner Foundations, before being passed on as an unrestricted charitable grant to the group in question.

Over £10m has been raised and distributed to our members, including £2.75m of match funding since 2009

Contact Emily Bradfield, Grants and Local Giving Officer, Cambridgeshire Community Foundation to get started.

You can hire rooms at very reasonable rates at Ely Library (or other libraries).  Why not see what they can offer you.

The Re-Imagine Resource Centre has lot of bits and bobs that may be useful.  They are situated at the Witchford Recylcing Centre.
